Crew Foreman

Ideal Foreman candidate would have leadership skills and the ability to finish a variety of fencing styles. Experience in Chain Link, Wood, Aluminum, Vinyl, and Gates will all be considered. Qualified person must be thoroughly knowledgeable in all phases of fence installation and must be able to lead a 2-3 man crew from layout to completion. Welding and/or concrete experience and ability to operate a Bobcat. TWIC Card a plus. Pay determined based on experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record and be able to pass a drug screen. Must be safety oriented and have the ability to work well with supervisors, subordinates, and customers.

Estimator

Prior estimating and/or construction experience helpful, but not required. We will train. Must have highly proficient computer, mathematics, writing, time- management and communication skills. You must be able to manage multiple projects with a great attitude.

Most takes off and scopes are developed in the field by observations, photo documentation, and complete detailed measurements and many are with short written incomplete scopes provided by property managers/homeowners that require RFI's for clarifications. Heavy experience with this type of estimating is a plus. Others are from traditional blue prints and written scopes of work that were provided by others.

Will support the commercial/industrial sales staff by working with contractors, architects, engineers and manufacturers to bid commercial projects. The estimator will create the scope of work from take-off, to bid, to providing submittals.

May spend time in the field with our crews, as well as office time learning the specifics of the fence industry.

Laborer

Looking for hard working, energetic individuals who are reliable and willing to learn to assist the crew leader in installing fences using hand and power tools. We will train the right individuals, and there is ample opportunity to move up as you grow with us. Must have own transportation to work.

Superintendent

As a Superintendent you will meet with the Production manager and estimating staff as soon as job is awarded to review and plan for materials, safety, labor and equipment budgets and other issues. You will conduct preliminary jobsite visits as necessary for job preparation. You will meet regularly with your manager to review the progress of ongoing jobs and to discuss problems that are outside of your authority. You will be responsible for training workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures and company policies.

Other responsibilities of the Superintendent role include:

  • Reading and interpreting specifications and plans
  • Determining requirements and planning procedures
  • Examining and inspecting work progress and site
  • Verifying safety and design specifications are met
  • Meeting with subcontractors to ensure satisfactory job progress
  • Ensuring all reports and records are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Forwarding reports to the appropriate company personnel
  • Supervising, ordering and coordinating activities of labor, subcontractors and deliveries
  • Recording information such as personnel, production and operation data
  • Analyzing worker and production problems
  • Improving production methods or implementing motivational plans for review
  • Conferring with managers and technical associates in order to coordinate activities
  • Conducting and participating in safety meetings

Service Tech

For a Service Tech we are looking for someone that has previous experience with alarms, installing, wiring, trouble shooting, if they can weld that would be a plus. Experience with dvr systems, if they have any experience with gate operators that would be a plus, they would be installing turnstiles, operators, barrier arms, keypads, photo eyes, safeties, card readers and security camera systems. We do not have a set pay rate and are open to discussion based on skill please do not avoid sending over an application because you feel it is out of our pay scope.
